Film Review #3

I have recently been into the TV series Parenthood. The TV show is basically how it sounds. Its about a big family and how they parent their children and live their lives. My mom was surprised I liked watching a TV show about parenting but I feel like the show is meant for teenagers and not adults. I like it because a lot how they portray the kids hating their parents I can relate to. The show is also based in Berkeley so sometimes they reference places I know and have been to.

UDHR case

Its crazy how far some sports fans will go, and I think Travis McIntosh and Matt McCormick took it the farthest. The two best friends decided they would get eloped in order to enter a contest to win two free tickets to the Rugby World Cup in South Africa. Although these two may have thought this was all for fun and just to win the tickets many people felt the men were abusing the right that so many people fought long and hard for. I feel like that these two friends do have the right to marry each other and its not against the law to marry for the contest, but I understand why lots of people reacted the way they did.

CF Notes #2 My Roots

- Too much going on
-Too colorful, makes it hard to focus
- Cutting around the tiger was choppy
- Flipped lions is good (makes it more of a composition)
- Tie dye incorporated the whole poster together.Good idea

Film Review #2

James brown, also known as the godfather of soul, recently had a movie based on his life. Before seeing the movie, I wasn't educated at all about how he grew up and all the hardships he went through. The movie definitely made me realize I have it pretty made. The casting in my opinion was pretty spot on. Chadwick Bosemen (role of James) looked extremely similar and captured all of James's crazy sides fairly well. Overall I really enjoyed the movie. It never hit a very boring spot. Good job Tate Taylor.
